ANSWERING A QUESTION IN AN UNKNOWN SERIAL KILLER CASE

Image
The following will be one element that I will address in an upcoming video on my YouTube channel: “Steve the Amateur Historian”. This video will be focusing on what is widely regarded as the case of the Lewis-Clark Valley Serial Killer. Many believe this one, still unknown person, was responsible for at least five specific murders that happened in the general vicinity of Lewiston, Idaho, a small border town along the Washington/Idaho border.            On April 28, 1979 12-year old Christina White was watching the opening festivities of the county fair, in the small Washington town of Asotin, when she began to feel ill. She went to a nearby friends house to get a wet washcloth to help cool herself off as she had experienced heat stroke in the past. While her friend was working in the backyard, his future stepfather answered the door for Christina and helped her get a wash cloth. A short while later it is stated she left the house to travel five blocks east where she would meet up

I have been working on a series that I have titled “Mystery Murders” off and on for the last several months that focuses in, primarily, on a variety of different cases that have occurred in Oregon whether they be Jane Doe/John Doe cases, missing persons cases, unsolved cases, etc. To this point (end of January 2021) I have produced 15 episodes in the series, many of which have yet to be posted. One particular episode about a teenager named Joan Hall who vanished from Warrenton, Oregon back in 1983 was taken down after I received a barrage of harassment from a random assortment of people on the matter (but that’s a strange story for another day). But for the most part this videos have been well-received and people have noticed what I am trying to do with them with the limited resources I have (my greatest limiting resource is that I am doing these entirely on my own).     I have yet to, unless I am forgetting someone, receive a comment from a family member of any of these victims,

Killing in Public: A Murder in Cold Blood

It's been a while since I've posted one of these episodes, mainly cause of my recent health blah blah blah, so I still have had a bunch of these sitting on the backburner. Anyway, this episode of Historic Murders of Portland we go back to 1920 and the murder of an English war bride who recently left her husband after he brought her back to America following his World War I service. The marriage was a strain almost from the outset leading to estrangement... and ultimately murder.

Fresh video going live at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. Haven't posted in a few days (been a stressful week... but things are looking up). Got a fresh Historic Murders of Portland episode here for you all that'll be going live chronicling a murder from back in the 1890s wherein a man named Burdette Wolf murdered his love interest who rebuked his advances and ultimately evaded authorities for at least 20 years... and possibly more. As far as I could see, I'm not dead certain if he was ever officially charged for his actions. But there's a lot to this overall story. Tune in tomorrow to get all of it!

I really want to get back in to this type of content as part of my YouTube channel. In this one I explore an abandoned housing structure out in the middle of nowhere! Real creepy vibes! Tune in at noon on Wednesday!
